OFICIAL rules SIERRA BLANCA RANGERS 2026
Welcome to the official rules for the 3rd Edition of Sierra Blanca Rangers, a mountain race designed for school-aged children. This document is mandatory for all participants registered in the Malaga Provincial Cup Final CxM.
1. ORGANISATION AND PARTICIPATION 🏃♂️
The race is organised by C.D. Ultra Trail Sierra Blanca. Children and young people aged 4 to 16 (born between 2010 and 2022) may participate.
Important note: The reference age is the age the participant will be on 31 December 2026. 📅
2. BIB COLLECTION 🎽
To collect the bib, it is essential to present the ID (DNI) of the participant or their guardian. To speed up the process, we recommend showing the QR code received in the registration confirmation; with this code, presenting the ID will not be necessary.📲
Location: C.C. Plaza del Mar, ground floor📍
Times: We recommend collecting it the day before from 16:00 to 20:00 (please try to do so on this day if possible). If you cannot attend the previous day, it can be collected on the race day from 09:00 to 11:00. ⏰
3. MANDATORY AND RECOMMENDED KIT 🎒
To guarantee safety and comply with our Zero Waste policy, the following kit is required:
Foldable cup or water container (reusable): Mandatory for all categories. Plastic cups will not be provided at aid stations. 🥤
Footwear: We strongly recommend using trail running shoes with good mountain grip. 👟
Cadet Category: It is mandatory to carry a water container of at least 0.5L. 💧
4. SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATIONS 🌿
Course Marking: Always follow the yellow markers. Do not deviate under any circumstances if you see markers of other colours. 🚩
Zero Waste: Littering of any kind on the mountain (including fruit peels) is strictly prohibited. Use the bins provided at the finish line and aid stations. ♻️
Medical Assistance: We have a medicalised ambulance and qualified healthcare staff throughout the event. 🚑
5. COMPLAINTS📝
According to FADMES regulations: Reglamento-CxM-2025-1.pdf ART. 40.-RECLAMACIONES. Any complaint must be submitted in writing to the Race Director up to 30 minutes after the publication of the provisional results.

In order for your little Ranger to take the start, it is essential to complete the legal documentation required by the organisers and the Federation. In line with our commitment as an "Environmentally Committed Event", we kindly request that you complete this process digitally.
